    Archie KaoAs a main cast member of hit TV series Chicago PD, Kao is also well known to international audiences fromCSI: Crime Scene Investigation and numerous other film and television roles.

    As a filmmaker, Archie diversifies his work on both sides of the Pacific, developing films in Asia as well as the United States- most recently writing and directing acclaimed thriller INITIATION.

    In 2010, Archie was inducted into MOCA’s (Museum of Chinese Americans) inaugural class of YPX88- honoring Asian Americans in creative culture, along with actress Lucy Liu and playwright David Henry Hwang.

    In 2012, Archie was honored with CAPE’s (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment) Leaders and Legends award from Who’s Who in Asian American Communities.

  • Jerry Chan

    Jerry-ChanPrior to Maplewood Media, Jerry was co-founder of Ringleader Productions, a production company specializing in music videos, reality TV, and commercials. Their work featured various brands and music artists, including Master P, the Doobie Brothers, Disney, and Universal Music. Most recently, he produced two reality shows for media company Electus: K-Town (2012) and Roll Models (2013).

    Jerry holds BA in computer science from Princeton University and an MFA in film production from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. While at USC, he was awarded the DGA’s prestigious John Frankenheimer Directing Fellowship as well as USC’s Harold Lloyd Production Scholarship for his outstanding work as a filmmaker.
